When creating Pharmacode, verify that they are printed correctly with a Pharmacode Verifier (also known as a Pharmacode Checker). Webscan’s verifiers will measure numerous characteristics of a Pharmacode, including symbol contrast, modulation, and bar width growth.

Pharmacode is commonly printed using color ink. If the contrast between the bars and spaces is not great enough, the code will not read and receive a failing grade in verification. Pharmacode checking will determine if the contrast is sufficient enough to be scanned using any barcode reader.
